Static files

To generate your website, SWAG will recursively go down all the directories starting from the content folder and convert all rst files into html pages, ignoring any other file. To copy static files, such as images, pdf documents or any other ressource, you have to save them into the content/static directory. All those files will be copied as is to the root directory of your website, with respect to the arborescence of the folder.

For instance, suppose your static folder looks like this:

$ ls content/static*
content/static/file1.txt

content/static/images/favicon.ico

content/static/pdf/thesis.pdf

Then after building your website the output directory should look like this:

$ ls output/*
output/file1.txt

output/images/favicon.ico

output/pdf/thesis.pdf

plus your actual website html files and directories.
